Meet Dr. Sarah Schantz
My education continued with Lymphology Association of North America certification. LANA provides certification for therapists that show the highest levels of expertise and care. To become a LANA Certified Lymphedema Specialist, I completed a rigorous training program and demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of lymphatic therapy.
Ongoing professional development and commitment to studying new developments in the field are part of my LANA certification. As a “research nerd,” I love delving into new healing techniques, studies on pathologies and therapies, and clinician discussions. Staying updated and engaged helps me improve the health and wellness of my clients.
Living and working in the Sisters, Oregon area, I’m fortunate to have access to nature, outdoor activities, and gardening. I spend time outside as much as possible, playing in or near water. I love warm sunshine, poetry, and my dog Millie.
With an undergraduate background in film photography, 35mm and medium format, along with acrylics, I enjoy creating environments and works of beauty that inspire health and wellness. Studying health and creative art, I graduated from Pitzer College in 2005 with a Bachelor in Fine Art degree.
When I was young, you could usually find me either in a pool or the Pacific Ocean. The wave-like movements of manual lymphatic drainage therapy are second nature to the rhythms of water.

Welcome to my practice. Specializing in lymphatic care, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Certified Lymphatic Therapist (CLT) with an additional certification through the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA).
Additionally, my hands-on approach to physical therapy and therapeutic bodywork helps clients heal complex areas such as shoulder and hip joints.
Serving the Central Oregon and Sisters community with compassionate, professional healing is my passion. To this end, I founded Sisters Wellness Collective, where highly experienced professionals in the healing arts serve the community with physical and lymphatic therapy, acupuncture, and other modalities. Clients seek out our welcoming environment and exceptional level of care.
I received my initial certification as a Lymphedema Therapist through Klose training. Studying with Guenter Klose and his colleagues, learning the methods and techniques associated with the world-renowned Foeldi Clinic Center for Lymphology, was profoundly educational on all levels. Traveling to Germany, I welcomed the chance to experience the Foeldi environment.
